Welcome to the website of the

Pittsfield Figure Skating Club!

A Note from Our President:

Pittsfield Figure Skating Club would like to welcome our returning members, new skaters, families and friends. Our season begins in early October and runs through mid March concluding with our annual Fantasy On Ice Show.  Our skating rink is located in the Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club on 16 Melville St. in Downtown
Our mission is to provide our members with quality instructions in basic skating skills and give opportunities to grow and develop as individual skaters. All while having fun and learning good sportsmanship. Our club is a non profit organization, run by elected Board of Directors and many volunteers.

We have a knowledgeable and experienced coaching staff that all enjoy what they do.  All of our coaches are members of the United States Figure Skating Association and/or Professional Skaters Association with the appropriate credentials.
We offer many opportunities to our members, including Learn to Skate classes, hockey classes, power skating classes, freestyle sessions, dance and moves in the field sessions, synchronized skating teams, an apprenticeship program and private instructions

PFSC hosts annual USFS test sessions, Basic Skill competition, a holiday skate party, a skate-a-thon fundraiser, ice show and an end of season banquet.
We always welcome new members and coaches to join our club. Please feel free to contact us for more information at PFSCinformation@mail.com

Important information

 USFS introduces

We all fall. It’s how we get up that matters.

Getting up is something you do in the rink and out in the world. Every time you go to practice. Every time you fight for something you believe in. Every time you hesitate but pull through. Every time you stumble and find your balance you are reminded that life is slippery. But you get up.

Figure skating is all about having the grit and determination to defy gravity and overcome things that might hold others down. Mastering the skills necessary to carve the ice and soar above it hones skills you can take anywhere. The classroom, the office, or even the dance floor—you can use lessons from the ice to handle anything that comes your way
